softshoes 83 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 The crowd in MSG has been chanting Hen-ri Hen-ri do you suppose in Columbus he would be considered the Rags weakest link?
MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 I wonder if George McPhee will even bother bringing Theodore back next year or if he'll just buy him out. Varlamov will probably be their starter, so I dunno if they'll keep Jose to sulk on the bench.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Komisarek tries to drop the gloves with Lucic and Lucic drops him with the very first punch he throws.
mjlegend 155 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Komisarek tries to drop the gloves with Lucic and Lucic drops him with the very first punch he throws. Why fight Lucic now? All Komisarek wanted to do was facewash him for games one and two...
C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 The crowd in MSG has been chanting Hen-ri Hen-ri do you suppose in Columbus he would be considered the Rags weakest link? Lundqvist has been flat out awesome. Made 3-4 spectacular saves on the Caps' last PP.
whitneydatsyukrox 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 The crowd in MSG has been chanting Hen-ri Hen-ri do you suppose in Columbus he would be considered the Rags weakest link? Hahaha! Yeah, Hank is just "fighting" shots left, right, and centre. I feel though that the weakest link would be the offense, according to that writer. Anything that was shaky in the regular season is the weakest link, no matter HOW well they manage to turn it up come playoffs. Good to see Drury score. He's great in the playoffs and is only going to make more and more of an impact as he continues to heal from his injury. And wow - Lundqvist yet again! 28 shots through 2 periods, 7 from Ovechkin alone. King Henrik says no. And those poor, poor Habs... can't even watch.
MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Lundqvist has been flat out awesome. Made 3-4 spectacular saves on the Caps' last PP. Rangers vs. Bruins in the 2nd round....should be interesting. Bettman's probably wetting his pants just thinking about it.
C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Komisarek tries to drop the gloves with Lucic and Lucic drops him with the very first punch he throws. One LGW collective mancrush (Lucic) is definitely doing better than the other (Ovechkin) right now. I used to count Komisarek among my favorite non-Wings, but I pretty much see him as a punk and not all that good anyway now.

whitneydatsyukrox 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Meh, I guess that Ovechkin goal was long overdue. Great aim on that shot picking the top corner.

whitneydatsyukrox 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Lol what a mess of a wipeout. I really don't think Avery deserved a penalty there as it was a complete accident on all parts but oh well, hopefully it won't end up mattering anyway. Overall a well-reffed game IMO. The refs have mainly just let them play.
whitneydatsyukrox 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 HOW Lundqvist saw that shot, I'll never know. What a beast. And the Caps PP is absolutely incredible.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 And so the curse of the 2nd seed keeps on trucking, this year (thankfully) in the East.
Yak19 303 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Very surprised with the Rangers 3-1 series lead. Lundqvist turned his game completely around for the playoffs. Could this team be the dark horse in the East? I honestly don't think so, they may win this round but they will be out next round. I think the Caps take the next game and possibly take it to 7 but i do not see how they can win this.
