gcom007 1,465 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 And me of course...like I've said all year, Osgood will be fine when it counts. I admit though that I was a little off considering that he's been outstanding thus far. He's got better numbers than Vancouver's ever-celebrated Roberto Luongo in the post-season thus far and it's not like Vancouver's lacking on D either. Not bad for the "weak link" with the "worst regular season stats for a starting goalie." So much for Conklin having to take over after one game... http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=419627 "Everyone anticipated that (Osgood) would struggle and I think everyone anticipated that to be a question mark, but he's been everything but," Columbus coach Ken Hitchcock said. "He's been really good early in games. Our best periods have been the first of each game, and we still can't buy a goal and he's been the difference. He's made second and third saves, and that's something I don't think we thought would happen."
Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 He's definitely smashed all my expectations, which is good, cuz the Wings aren't winning the cup with anything less than what he's giving them.
