IceMunkee 15 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 So I just went to NHL and the poll today is the greatest 7 game series of all time. They have some phenomanal choices until the last one. Would you believe that one of the options is Pit/Wsh 2009!?!?!?!?!?!?! Is it just me or is this completely ridiculous? What is even more ridunkulous is that it is winng the Poll. WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!? No, its not just you. It's absolutely ridiculous. It could very well be the best game 7 ever, but IT HASN'T BEEN PLAYED YET!
Nero 20 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Almost as bad as this poll that went up shortly after Detroit won the Cup last year?
Austin 5 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 The results are in chronological order.. makes sense because a lot of today's fans weren't fans 2, 5, 10 years ago. Doesn't surprise me really.
C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Completely ridiculous. Right or wrong, most seven-gamers are defined by how the game 7 goes, and obviously we can't answer that one until late tonight. I was actually surprised to see our 2002 Colorado series as a choice (and coming in 2nd) for that very reason. My non-homer vote goes to 1994 NYR-NJD though. pavyaz19 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Although the Pens / Caps bias annoys me... it DOES say 7-game-SERIES, not best game 7. So people at least have 6/7ths of an opinion rather than zero.

Thanks for pointing that out, I misread it at first. I guess this wasn't as ridiculous as I originally thought eventhough the last game still hasn't been played. I would then probably vote it one the best.
Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 i think the best part of the series is that the only discussion about malkin is how he only plays hard for 5 minutes a game. he is lazy and only competes when he has the puck, pretty much floats around with that special needs look on his face when the coach yells for him to hustle back and play defence. you shouldn't be -2 when you have 17 pts in 12 games. atrocious! IceMunkee 15 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 Well I guess alot of people need to take back thier vote. Considering it is a 5-0 blowout right now. I agree with the statement that you can't have a great 7 game series without a strong game 7. The game is severly upsetting, since I am rooting for Washington...
