The Wings Are Locks to Beat the Hawks!

Here we go again, as Ozzy is ready to out-fox the Hawks as he blocks their shots and shocks another one of these poor feathered flocks.

The Hawks will skate as if there are rocks in their socks, and end up taking frequent walks to the box. Keep your heads up Hawks. The neutral zone is where Brad Stuart stalks. There will be talks from all the docs that the Hawks can't withstand such powerful knocks.

As the clocks have their ticks and their tocks and Quennville runs out of his chaulks, all that will be left are his gawks at how Datsyuk dekes off the Hawks jocks - Leaving Khabi with a paralyzing case of Pavel-Pox.

The home crowd will taunt them with jeers and mocks as the Hawks limp off the ice in their tattered up smocks.

Go Wings!

(yes I am bored, and still pumped from the win)

EDIT: Feel free to add some of your own lines!

Canuck fans couldn't conceive them being beat by the Hawks either. Hell, Flames fans were pretty damn confident too.

Games are played on the ice folks. The #8 seed just took you to 7 games.

Arguably the most playoff ready 8th seed in the history of the NHL. Ready enough to snub out the Sharks.

It's just for fun. Lighten up.

Your Blackhawks need to play a full 60 minute game againts the Wings. The flames and the Canucks game up big leads to Hawks game after game. The Wings will not do that. If you spot the Wings 3 goals, its game over.

Just an FYI. I think it will be a great series but if the Hawks play like they did in the first 2 rounds, it will be a short series.

Careful not to call the Hawks overrated. I vividly recall people suggesting the Ducks defense was overstated.

Lest we forget the keys are for Dats to get out of his slump, Homer to show Bulin more rump, and if ZDH really gets going the Hawks will be trumped.

I agree that the Wings should not underestimate the Hawks. However, if you think Anaheim was truly an 8 seed I have to question your sanity. Anaheim pretty much has the same team as the one that won the 2007 Stanley Cup and were one of the top teams in the second half. I think they are a better team than Chicago is, and you guys are very lucky that we took care of them.

Can't agree with you more wingsownhhl43. Anaheim is a good team, and outside of Detroit I really didn't think there was a team that was going to beat Anaheim in the west. I certainly don't want to underestimate the blackhawks, they have a lot of young talent and Khabibulin is a cup-winning goalie. I say the Wings will win in 5, but it should be a hard-fought series. Go Wings!
