I've never been able to get my mind around that. I'm the same way. Twist with me though, being a goalie, had to learn how to shoot lefty seeing as I catch with that hand. I've never been able to get my mind around that. Thats exactly how I am too. I always assumed it was because of the way I was taught. Those two are the only things I do right handed, everything else, Im all left handed. I grew up playing with a right handed stick, but my dad played left so I would use his stick and play around with it. I suck horribly at it, but for some reason can let off a decent backhander lol. Datsook 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 I think its primarily US phenomena to be righty and shoot righty I notice that too. I'm Canadian and a lot of people here (from what I see) shoot left.
