A subtle shot from behind the circles deflected off a Canes defenseman's stick, floats above Ward's glove and into the net. He just missed it with his glove. WHIFF. drfnr14 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2009 yeah ward took a puck to the helmet, which broke the clip that helps hold it on. he was more worried about gettn the ref. to blow the whistle so he can get his helmet fixed, then him worring about the game play/puck. yeah it did go pretty funny into the net, but ward has no excuse for missing that one.
