mtuhockey7 23 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 I've heard rumbles before that there is a restaurant inside the Joe called the Olympia Club where it is pretty easy to meet players, have a good meal, and take in the sights of the Joe but I am struggling to find any info about it but thought it might be cool to go to to top off the night tomorrow for the Finals. It's a small place for the Wings Alumni and their family and guests. Really nice inside. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try the food... was only there as part of a tour. oldredbarnman 13 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 The Olympia Room is a restaurant on the west side of the building, not a far walk from the lockeroom. You have to be a member to get in. My dad and I ate there before the game. It was pretty good, but this was probably close to 8 years ago or so. The other time I was there during a "not red wings game" event. It was when the Rockers soccer team used to play there. Probably no one here knows who they are...it was in the late 1990s. The guy I was dating at the times best friend was the music guy and his dad the announcer so after the game we all went down there and they had more music and stuff.
