Adversity: Overcoming it is the mark of Champions

This could be an epic run to the cup for us.

Look at all we have balltled through this play offs.

However, sometimes things out of your control get in the way of reaching your goal.

This is the time where the Wings can come out, grit there teeth and make their mark. They can strap on the armor and go to ballle.

Or,

There may be just too much to overcome.

One thing is for sure, I have confidence in my guys that they will come out, face adversity and walk out with cup number 12.

Overcoming all of the s*** that stands in your way, thats the marik of a Champion.

Get it done boys!

The Wings will come out more determined on Thursday because of tonight. They will have settled into Pittsburgh, Ozzie will get his A-Game back, and they will take this series back to Detroit up 3-1.

In Detroit on Saturday, memories of last year's game 5 will spark the last needed flame. The heartache of having to pack up again, go to Pittsburgh, and win a Cup in front of maybe 1,000 fans as opposed to 20,000 fans will give them the determination to come out on top.

We've lost both of the last game 3s that we've been in and come back to win both of the past two game 4s with 6 goals (with 3 against us playing the Ducks, and 1 against us playing the Hawks).

We'll be fine. We'll come out and get our match-ups going after figuring out how Bylsma would play Crosby and Malkin with the last change.

If Hossa scores a pair my mind will be completely blown. That's the kind of streak that happens once in a lifetime.

I'll instantly start to seize on the floor, no matter where I'm at if that happens.

The single greatest mistake the Wings made last night was playing a regular season hockey game in the Stanley Cup Finals.

You can't do that and expect to wing, the look like they were coasting out there for half of the game -- no hustle, no urgency.
