Other team's fans praising the Red Wings

Just was browsing some other teams boards to get a feel of how they witnessd the final and came across a few threads that made me thankful that I became a Red Wing Fan at an early age. We are truly lucky and our team is the envy of many other knowelgble hockey fans.

It has to be a tough double-bind for many other teams' fans - most are sick of the Red Wings winning, but at the same time it's Crosby they are up against.

I would think most fans of Eastern Conference teams want nothing to do with Crosby and the Pens winning.

The West, most probably are tired of the Wings. But I've seen quite a few favorable posts towards the Wings also....

Yeah, some teams hate the Wings in the West, but let's not forget that most true hockey fans in the West have utter disdain for almost any team in the East, and will back "their own" in the finals, so to speak. The West, for the most part, seems to be a frat of teams that respect each other more than teams in the East.

One of the biggest things that i love about hockey is that a lot of people dont just have "their team" I know lots of people that follow a handful of other teams and thats what makes this sport so awesome.

True that. As an East fan there aren't words to describe how much we despise our other teams. The ones NE at least.. South kinda slides a little. You want to see hate? Go to a Pens/Flyers game. The arguements there lasts all year long.
