We are watching some of the best Playoff hockey ever.

Ignore the calls. Cast aside the blame.

What we are seeing here, is a genuine Stanley Cup Finals.

It's a rematch, which hasn't happened since like the 80's.

It's honestly, the two best overall teams in hockey. It's who most people want to be here.

It's tied 2-2.

Does it get more ****** exciting than that?

If you have a complaint, I say can it. I know some people live their lives around the hopes of a blowout series........

This is real. It's very very difficult to get this kind of hockey, and what we're seeing now in my opinion....

Is awesome :)

I'm even a Detroit fan. I just watched MY team that I've been watching since 1995 get pwnt. I sure as hell don't want them to lose, but I have never been more excited about a series as I am RIGHT NOW.

Good for you! Seriously, this is what it is all about. 4-0 sweeps of 97 and 98 were a gift and very rare. 02 had a little tension with a game one loss then that triple OT, but earlier on we almost lost it all to the Canucks! Last year was getting close to evenly matched and now we have it. If the Wings win, all this doubt, ups and downs... will just add to the whole experience. There is a reason this is the hardest trophy to win in all sports and we are seeing it right here. Some worthwhile things have to hurt a bit. Any way, you are right. Try and enjoy the ride.

P.S. Way way way before my time, but could you imagine the 1968 World Series? Tigers came back from 3-1, won three straight and won it all. At the time, it must have been crazy and tense beyond belief. Kind of makes 2-2 look tame in comparison!

Agreed. Looking back, despite all the complaining about calls and the doubts most fans were having during the series the Anaheim series was by far the most enjoyable from a viewing standpoint compared with the relatively easy wins over Columbus and Chicago. The Pitt series has the potential to be even better, especially since this is for the cup. Of course if we lose I might change my tune but if we do pull this out it will be made all the better because it was a long competative series.
