thegreat66 19 Report post Posted June 6, 2009 I find it ironic the Penguins come in to do battle with a very formidable champion in Joe Louis Arena tonight. The other night a boxing adage came to me which I think holds true in this series. "Once a scared fighter gets brave, he doesn't get scared again" I think the Penguins found their soul and guts when Staal turned the series around with his shorthanded goal. Not to say it will be easy as I expect the Wings to try to deliver a knockout punch at home in the first 10 minutes but I stay with my prediction I've had since game 2. Pens in 6. If you quote is true, then that means Staal's goal means s*** for game 5... because Detroit is past the "scared fighter" phase. I think you are confusing the Detroit Red Wings to a very inexperienced hockey club. I hope the Penguin players think like you.

cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted June 6, 2009 So...anyone want to take a stab at finding irony in games played in an arena named after a defunct bank? Well done. A new sign with the new name would have cost more money. I thought it had something to do with the produce aisle.

Take Dats out of our line up and , Pens Win 2 games instead of 1, and the wings win in 6 instead of 5.
