truebladearmy 33 Report post Posted June 7, 2009 +1 I don't hate Malkin. To say that is retarded. Listen guys, I s*** talk a lot for fun too. I do agree he lost his composure. I do agree that he was blatantly angry out there tonight. I do agree that he took a few cheap shots. But, as a rule of thumb, the Malkin there tonight, is not the Malkin I've watched play all season, and all playoffs. Am I defending Malkin? Yes. Am I a pittsburgh fan? No. So big f***in deal. He's young. He's generally not a dirty player. Give him some credit. He is a great player. How would you feel if you've been absolutely shut down in a 5-0 loss? This thread is fail. s*** talking is fine. But s*** talking to the point of discrediting a great player, is very, very unsportsman like. Give him his dues. He knows he has to bring it. He knows he has to be more phsyical. He knows he is NOT being the complete player he needs to be. Not necessarily his fault that he's trying to do all those things, in the worst way. Honestly, he's been basically spoon fed. His talent is by far not fully tapped, and his playoff mettle is severely lacking. But to say he's a horrible player? That's just rediculous
FedorovMan91 1 Report post Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) I have nothing against Malkin as much as I hate Crosby but I never liked Malkin either. The only difference between the hatred against Malkin and the hatred against Crosby must be the name of two different players. When people hear the name of Crosby, everyone mocks him as a cry baby. It looks people who are fans of neither Wings fans nor Penguins fans just force Crosby to be a bad guy and Malkin as a good guy. The bottom line is, Malkin and Crosby were frustrated but Malkin lost his composure more than Crosby. Edited June 7, 2009 by FedorovMan91

That's just rediculous It wasn't just this game. I've been watching him this series and he gets really dirty when things aren't going his way. Hell, he started throwing punches at Zetterberg before he even dropped his stick. I never said he was a horrible player, I just said that I'm glad he's on your team and not the Wings. He comes off as a classless punk. That's all.
