Just like last year against Nashville of people jumping off and cashing it in. You mine as well turn in your colors and root for the Islanders. For all the fans who stood by this team even during the cluster f*** of the game 4 loss if they finish it on Tuesday this win is much yours as much as the Redwings. Folks were jumping off when we were down 2-1 to the Sux as well. I remember making a post on here with the title CALM DOWN. Or something like that, and what I don't understand is how many times have the wings (and us fans) been through this. You would think by now, folks would have learned their lesson......and just let things play out. It almost has to be new fans of the team or young kids. I would think most of us longtime fans have learned to be quiet when things are not going so well, and wait and see what happens. This is a team that should never be doubted (at least publicly) LOL. Everybody was concerned, but I don't think any Wings fans thought the series was over. This series is far from over, though. Still gotta get one more. Don't celebrate yet. Remember all they have to do is win all their home games and we're GOOD. Lets hope the wings are in the Pens head just like they got the Hawks to do dumb things. Mostly because I knew NBC would be just bursting with Pen love. BUT I calmed down and was treated to the best game I have seen the wings play all playoffs. There is an ebb and flow. I understand that its an emotional game but seriously come on, if people want me to go back and find the posts and out the people who jumped off I will. To put it short I was pissed to but I said it to myself this team is too ******* good, and too stacked to play that bad. Im not getting ahead of myself but if people think that the Redwings arnt going to come out like a house on fire on Tuesday your crazy. Im not saying they are gonna win but s*** if this team dont have the pens balls in a vice right now. Just like last year's triple ot loss in game 5 they came out in game 6 and scored the 1st goal. I think scoring the 1st goal is key and in the past 3 games they had to play from behind. You score the 1st on Tuesday you put the pens behind the 8 ball. All the internet tough guys seem to some out after a loss to ***** about the loss, say that the "wings suck" and pick fights. It's kinda ridiculous around here sometimes. As I know we all can get emotional at times understand that this team is too good to sit back and get the s*** kicke dout of them. I would take the veteran leadership over youth any day of the week.
