BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 Just wondering, when was the last time the Wings scored a goal with the goalie out? Honestly. Seriously. I can't remember. I'll admit to not being able to watch every Wings game but I don't think one happened this year or last. Anyone?

KrazyGangsta 79 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 Was thinking same thing when we pulled out Ozzie, but for some reason we always get scored on when they pull out their goalie.

Pavrik Zettersyuk 4 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 Other than Hossa's waved goal in Anaheim, there was a goal against Phoenix in the reg season to force a scoreless overtime and we won in the SO.

BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 Other than Hossa's waved goal in Anaheim, there was a goal against Phoenix in the reg season to force a scoreless overtime and we won in the SO. hossa's didn't count so I can't count it. Looks like that may be the answer. That would have been a game I didn't try to stay up to watch....

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 I don't remember Robert Lang scoring much.... But he did score that goal, and preventing the Wings from falling in a nigh-insurmountable 3-1 series hole with help from Schneider's OT winner. Before that goal, it must have been Hull's game-tier in Game 3 of the SCF. The Wings are not very good (or lucky, depending on how you see it) with the sixth skater.
