Gutierrez 7 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 (edited) I've been on here for a few hours just reading all the different reactions/threads, makes it easier to know other people are going through the same thing I am. I shaved my beard off. I'm eating some chocolate chip cookies my friend made and they are delicious. Tomorrow will be tough, the day after the loss is always the most difficult imo. After tomorrow I should be alright but the key is to keep busy or do something otherwise I'll just be pondering what if for the next few days. rwfan007 18 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 you know what? I love the wings, and its tough to watch them lose. but it is just a game. Lord willing the sun will come up tomorrow, I will be here tomorrow. It is just a game. My life does not depend on the wings winning or losing. it is entertainment. thats it. Yes, it was phenomenal to see the Wings win the cup 4 times, but like the other 8 times in those 12 years, we didn't win this time, oh well. Next year is a new season and we will have another wings team to root for with some different players. If people are drinking themselves to sleep in depression over this, they need to seriously re-evaluate their priorities.
