I think he would be great on the wing he makes roughly 1.7Mill why not make him an offer. I know he's not the bruiser everyone wants. But he can play the body and can put the puck in the net. Peltonen is a guy who is incredibly cheap, could probably be relied upon for 30 points, and who does have heart. Taylor Pyatt is another guy I mentioned, who put up a 23-goal season in 06-07, and who has a very low cap hit (based on what he earned last season). P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 Peltonen has been great when playing in Europe or at least in Finland. He scored a hat trick in the gold medal game of the World Championships in '95. Then I thought that he would be the one who makes the biggest impact in NHL of the Peltonen-Koivu-Lehtinen line. It turned out to be just the opposite.
