newfy 695 Report post Posted July 10, 2009 I was thinking to take a break from all this free agent talk we can talk about something a little different. How about which of the wings prospects will make their cuntry's world junior team this coming year. I know Tatar will be playing for the slovaks again but what I'm wondering is if Ferraro will have a chance to make the canadian team?

newfy 695 Report post Posted July 11, 2009 Why didn't Brendan Smith make it last year? It came down to smith and ryan ellis for who would get to be the pp qb and ellis got picked they didn't think they needed 2 of the same player
under_par_00 45 Report post Posted July 11, 2009 Why didn't Brendan Smith make it last year? Can he play on it in the next World Juniors?
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted July 11, 2009 Why didn't Brendan Smith make it last year? They had enough solid 2-way d-men, and Ryan Ellis was much stronger on the PP. Is Smith still 19, or did he turn 20?
Guest mindfly Report post Posted July 11, 2009 (edited) Smith can't play this World Under 20, the oldest you can be is born on january 1st 1990, so for example, if you're born december 31st 1989 you aren't aloud to play. Smith is born february 8th 1989 so he's ruled out. Edited July 11, 2009 by mindfly
