numberthirtynine 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I agree 100% with what you typed - but the post I was responding to was: I see Ericsson as you do I think, a good all-around guy, willing to throw or eat a punch for his team when the situation dictates, and that's good, he should be that. I think that anyone who is expecting him to "finish" much of anything though. Whatshisname, that pansy ass ***** on Anaheim. Fairy Perry, yeah, he didnt think Ericsson could finish anything. This was before he got a nice look at the house lights being blocked out by Rigs fists.
wingnut40 176 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I thought the more severe concussions only take about a year to recover from. I don't expect him to be ready to start the season, but I don't think he's done for good. At least I hope not. I would cry.

Perry might have been a fair bout, had Hudler been blindfolded. I like Ericsson, I do - I'm just not all that impressed be the fact that he had a marginal win over a guy who he should be expected to beat 101 times out of 100. Corey Perry is a *****, rivaling the biggest ******* in the league. I really wish Maltby or Franzen would have gone with Perry - he's like a practice girl, a great way to pad your stats. numberthirtynine 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 As a former amateur boxer, I was impressed by the punches he was throwing. Ericsson can hold his own. Esp considering he was shielding a wrist injury, because hockey fights will always require both hands, whether to punch or hold the jersey, or more cunningly, hold the other guys right hand. I've also seen many of his junior fights and the kid can fight.
