GDT 9/7 Redwings v Carolina

Tatar has the higher upside compared to Ferraro, even though he was picked 2nd by the wings. I think he is going to pan out too and reach his potential. The wings draft so late in the draft yet they still get great players. I luv it!! :chug:

I almost wish we could fast forward a few years to see how these kids turn out.

To anyone who watched the games so far, how has Dick Axellson looked so far? ANy input it apreciated. TIA

Callahan should just grab hold of someone and kick his ass...

How do you know it didn't happen? None of us saw the game, so if I was to say that Callahan beat up everyone on their team, and then intimidated the refs to the extent where they didn't penalise him, none of you could say for sure that I was lying :)

I was at the game.. i posted my analysis on RWC so if you want to check it out, its there Redwingscentral.com

Overall, It was a good game. Tatar, Mursak and Emmerton line was fire. Dick Axelsson did not impress one bit. not at all.. Johnston was invisible.. Callahan, wasn't talking or chirping, but he was hitting and creating energy and making plays.. on top of that in between whistles he was using his stick to bump people. *on accident* of course ;)

Overall, Tatar really impressed. As did Piche, Piche was a open ice hitting machine. Between open icers and lining up hip checks he really caught my eye, and can move the puck was really impressed.

Talked to some ATL prospects at wendy's later and one said he almost fought callahan sunday and then he also said that Landon Ferrero was one of the toughest to play against.

Well damn.

It seems like you get off on energy, which is okay, but what about his positioning, getting pucks to the net, etc. He's supposed to be a really smart player in the offensive end. When you play a game with smarts, you sometimes don't appear as if you're expending much energy, at least physically, but rather mentally.

Yah I am mos def a fan of energy and making plays happen.

If i had to list the biggest offensive threats that game, Dick wouldn't be on the top 5. He overall didn't look out of place, But he also didn't show that elite offensive talent that I've heard about.
