edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Hoping Cablevision has this free preview, since they usually do and this will be the first time in probably about 4 or 5 years that I won't be purchasing Center Ice. Found out last season that I just didn't have enough time to watch enough hockey to make it worth my while, sadly. But I'll try and cram in some watching this month, plus I think I still have Versus and NHL Network. Will be especially nice after next weekend, since my parents will be coming in to town and I'll be able to watch some Wings games with my dad.
dobbles 252 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Well it appears as though NHL Center Ice won't be airing the two most-hyped games of the weekend (those being the ones in Sweden). Chicago and Florida is going on right now, but Center Ice is too busy having two channels dedicated to most of the 'Upcoming' games that won't be airing until 7:00pm, or worse yet - tomorrow. This is a travesty. versus has exclusive rights to those games. directv can't air them no matter what they want to have on their channels. and as far as dedicating 2 channels per game, its because they offer the home and away versions so you can have your choice of who you want to listen to broadcasting it. center ice is a pretty awesome option. they do dual feeds, have HD, and allow you to watch more hockey than any other option. for those of us outside the detroit area, we may only see a handful of wings games on regular tv without it. chrisdetroit 189 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Just a reminder to everyone that Center Ice has the free preview for 3 weeks starting the season. Make sure to check it out! http://www.indemand.com/sports/nhl/ excellent. I didn't know that and I checked it out and my cable network, Brighthouse has included it. You made my day. T.Low 1,011 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 (edited) Did I read the schedule correctly? They are only showing the schedule thru Oct 11 and no Wings games yet. Edited October 2, 2009 by T.Low
TheDetroitRedWings 286 Report post Posted October 3, 2009 Is it just me or is the Pitt/NY game not on Center Ice anywhere? They have the Canes/Flyers game, but I can't find the Rags game anywhere.

SetecX 139 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 Is it just me, or is it impossible to order Center Ice to get the 4 payment plan listed here http://www.indemand.com/sports/nhl/ by calling 1-888-sports-in? I have called this number from different phones on different days and times and it is like it does not exist. No ringing or anything. One time ever I got through to the menu but then it dumped me. Has anyone else tried to order this through this number? I would rather order through them than give Comcast $160 in one shot.
