Mike375 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Kinda at a loss here. Have Center Ice, but have an older receiver. Last year I was getting all the Center Ice channels in the 700 range on DTV. Now for some reason I have one channel that tells me my receiver no longer has Center Ice in that range, but instead the Center Ice games will be available in the 628 to 699 Regional Sports channel range. evilmrt 636 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Looks like its Gamecenter, Hockeystreams, or some random free stream. I think I'm going to try a day pass from Hockeystreams and see how it works. Apparently they will credit the difference from the daypass toward a longer subscription as well. Maybe the NHL should try developing the NHL Network as the method of airing its games? I called DirecTV last night and got Center Ice for free this season. Just mentioned that I came home from work hoping to watch the Caps-Bruins game. Guy tried to sell me the CI package, but I told him I didn't want to pay anything to watch hockey. He said "let me see what I can do", then came back and said he'd give me the Center Ice package for free this season. Too bad I work till 8pm ET so I'll miss half of most Red Wing games.
