P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) Serious. Who is on Emery's mask? It looks like Mr T? "Emery is a huge boxing fan and, if recently leaked photos are any indication, his new mask will honor Philadelphia boxing greats like Bernard Hopkins, Joe Frazier and even Rocky Balboa." Link Scott Fartsmell. WSH 5-5 PHI Edited October 7, 2009 by P. Marlowe

P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) PHI win in OT. A dirty scrappy goal by Daniel Briere. It's his 32nd birthday. Edited October 7, 2009 by P. Marlowe
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Philly are for real, that defence is great. Stifled Ovie in OT and they got the win. Emery's 3-0.
solnyshko 8 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Wow, great game though. Even if I would've preferred a Caps victory.

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 what what what did you watch the same game I did?? Only watched the OT, they were great then. By the way you were surprised, I'd imagine they s*** the bed during regulation.
P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) Thinking quickly PHI seems to be quite nicely balanced team, strong on all areas, whilst WSH has super strong individuals on offence, but weak goaltenders. This amounted to a high-scoring game tonight. Only watched the OT, they were great then. By the way you were surprised, I'd imagine they s*** the bed during regulation. Well they allowed five goals which is never good, but four of them were either by Ovechkin or Semin. By the way, how was the OTT-TOR (2-1) game? I saw only the stats and it seems that TOR couldn't get any pressure until the end and then it was too late. Edited October 7, 2009 by P. Marlowe

Leclaire saved Ottawa big time in the last minute. 2 huge saves, one on a deflection and a rebound, and one on Kaberle at the final buzzer. Ottawa definately had the advantage until the 3rd when Toronto started coming.

Doc Holiday 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Great game between Philly and Washington. Goaltending sucked, but that's what you get in a 6-5 game.

He was great in 07-08 with 9 shutouts, but last season he was injured and when he got healthy Mason had stolen his job for good.
hak 21 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Flyers will be hard to beat.. They have a lethal PP and rock solid PK with richards as one of the best pkers in the game. I'm not sold on Emery yet and he looked a bit shaky today so i'm not sure about their goaltending.. But they have a strong and smart defence with pronger and kimonen
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Calgary beat Montreal 4-3 tonight to go to 3-0. Eric Nystrom had a hattrick, and Staffan Kronwall looks identical to Niklas.

thegerkin 189 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 I'm watching the Sharks at the Kings... what a back and forth game. LA led 4-0, then SJ tied it up 4-4. A few seconds after the Sharks tied the game, LA went down ice and went ahead again, 5-4. Five minutes left in the 3rd...
