dear Jim Morrison, go back to the box you crawled out from under!

(was that racist too?)

Of course that's not a racist comment, don't be silly.

Since "box" is slang for a woman's bajingo, it's a sexist comment. You sexist person who doesn't respect women! Go back to sensitivity training....in Europe.

I can't honestly believe there are people saying "this is ok, much worse things are said on the ice" as if it's ok to make derogatory statements because it's during a sporting event.

Guess what. You people are all dumb s***s if you think that's the case. And this kid? He's a dumb s*** too.

You are arguing that he should not make bad comments about other people yet you finish your post of by calling fellow posters "Dumb s***s". Well done.

My comment was that people saying it was ok for derogatory statements based on race or nationality to be made were dumb s***s. I stand by that statement.

I agree with the punishment because rules specifically state it. Other then that it's a meaningless comment made by a teenager. Lighten up.

My body mass index (BMI) has nothing to do with this thread...

The teen got what he deserves and hopefully he will learn from his actions.

I do not agree. Kids these days need to be responsible for their actions.

Technically this phrase is not derogatory one bit. He tells him to go home. He doesn't say anything bad about his home or him. He tells him to go home. As I stated in another post, lighten up.

Like I said before, this thread has nothing to do with my body mass index (BMI)!!!

The teenager implied that he should go back to Europe because Europeans do not know how to play hockey in North America. North Americans, more precise Canadians are SUPERIOR.

I didn't know you could read his mind. You should have just said that in the first place.

Here we go again with the name calling... You started on me in the other thread and now this....

I'm guessing you are Canadian. If an American told you to go back to Canada, assuming you weren't playing in Canada, do you think it would be a big deal? Would there be a write up in the paper?

Name calling? What did I call you? A mind reader?

Do not bring me into this argument.

Do not bring me into this argument.

If you can't speak for yourself, why do you feel you can speak for somebody else?

Whatever man, you thinks it's wrong and I don't. Done.

Who are you talking about? What are you talking about?

Lets focus here...

There is a rule, a player made a comment, whoever decides the suspensions interpreted that rule (no, it is not mind reading), grabbed the rule book, flipped through some pages, and played connect-the-dots (you know, square peg in the square hole type thing), and then assessed the the suspension.

Seems simple enough. Case closed.

He tells him to go home.

You think that is a word-for-word transcription? I highly doubt it. I'm sure it was much more in the Don Cherry-style of "Canadians play better hockey and Europeans are soft, weak players who aren't as good and should stay in Europe."

If you think "I told him to go home." is an exact, word-for-word statement then I have a bridge to sell you. Discount price, too!
