dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 You have to wonder if the Caps aren't just doing this to clear some cap space for a deadline move. They don't need to boost their offense, but they badly need another good d-man. With this and the whole Nylander thing they should have a couple of million in cap space. Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 I'll admit, this deal doesn't really make much sense to me. I think Caps got the better deal but I don't know.
jollymania 162 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 caps got hosed, but i woudl imagine they are clearing cap room, jurchina isn't that great definsively but he is a good hitter, clark is veteran, chimera is a 4th liner that will blow up and get kicked out of games whenever he gets layed out and hardly ever scores

Remember, they are competing with s***sburgh's Crysby, Malkin, and Staal while losing Feds and Kozlov (not the good one, the evil one). They are definately freeing up cap space. This could get very interesting as the deadline gets closer.
