Great to have Franzen back, but once again the fans were misinformed as to Kronwall's injury.

They said it was just a minor tweak, but this will be the 4th game he's missed already. Doesn't sound minor to me.

It probably is minor but considering kronwalls history i'm sure the wings doc keep him out extra long, also awaiting for that mcl protection to arrive etc, even though wings are dying for points they still leave him out when he probably could play... oh well, it's the detroit red wings!

1. Because it's a re-injury they're going to be insanely careful with it.

2. He's waiting for a new knee brace to arrive.

So glad franzen is back! i'd love to see homer in the lineup because then we'd have 2 lines with a big man who can provide net presence. i hope eaves isn't out for much longer because we need that solid third line intact.

Im kinda glad that kronner isn't back, because I think he needed to step back and make sure he has his body in order, and I think this new brace will give him more confidence to play his regular style of play when hes back, rather than being overly careful all the time.

Sucks that Eaves is out, this one's televised in Australia so I was looking forward to seeing my man play again.

Pumped to see Franzen make his return though, still think it's a bit early for him to return but I guess they know what they're doing.
