JPT 26 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) According to NHL.com(http://www.nhl.com/stats/shootout_report.pdf) Zetterberg: 2 for 10 on the season - 20% 11 for 36 lifetime - 30.6 % Bertuzzi: 2 for 5 on the season - 40% 7 for 23 lifetime - 30.4% Franzen wasn't on the list - likely because he has no shootout attempts this year. I saw another site that said he was 2 for 4 lifetime. Is it really the case he has only participated in 4 shootouts? To me the biggest problem with the shootout is Jimmy Howard. He is cover your eyes awful! His lifetime save percentage is 66.7% Edited February 10, 2010 by JPT
13dangledangle 968 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 I remember a few years ago when Hank was the "other" one to watch in the shootout! I assume his shootout record has been in decline? It also seems that he has lost the Wow factor in his whole freakin game too, not to mention he is a heart player, and I think his little girlyfriend has it locked up at home somewere because (besides the playoffs last year)these past two years hes blown! (of course the year after I replaced my Yzerman Jersey with his )
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 Zetterberg's shot was the most pathetic attempt I've ever seen in a shootout. Not only did he do his predictable move, but his shot was weak. He didn't even try to snap it to get it there faster. He just sort of gently passed it to the goalie. On second viewing it looks 10x worse.

Zetterberg's mind seconds before the attempt: "Gee I wonder what food my lovely emma has been cooking, oh and isn't there a great show on tv later on..hmm"

Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 I don't really think it matters who we put in a shootout, we can't win them. I think of all the shootouts we've been in all season, we've won 1 or 2. Which is pathetic to say the least. I'd rather we focus our energy on being able to either win in regulation or win in OT. Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 1. Datsyuk 2. Franzen 3. Bertuzzi Datsyuk is only allowed to deke and Bert must do the spin-o-rama every time. That is all.
