Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 MLIVE Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said forwards Pavel Datsyuk and Valtteri Filppula didn't practice because "they're day-to-day maintenance.'' He expects both to play Saturday against Ottawa in the last game before the Olympic break. Defenseman Niklas Kronwall (knee) said he feels much better and expects to play Saturday, unless he has a setback.

MCleveland89 122 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 Agree 100%. Even when Franzen I tried to get myself pumped up, but to not avail. I got pumped for his first game back. Then we lost. And now I stopped caring again. Those few hours were nice though.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 If Lilja plays, I'll care. Otherwise, there isn't a lot to get excited about these days.
puckbags 863 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 The problem is we get excited when one or two come back and then two or three more get hurt !
Krystal 41 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 If Lilja plays, I'll care. Otherwise, there isn't a lot to get excited about these days. Well get pumped then babe February 12, Griffinshockey.com: Defenseman Andreas Lilja on Friday was recalled from his conditioning loan with the Grand Rapids Griffins by the Detroit Red Wings, where he remains on injured reserve. Lilja, 34, appeared in four games with the Griffins since his Feb. 2 assignment, going scoreless with six penalty minutes and a minus-two rating. He became the fifth Red Wings regular to make his Griffins debut during a conditioning stint, joining Curtis Joseph (2003-04), Chris Osgood (2005-06), Manny Legace (2005-06) and Chris Chelios (2008-09). I'm under the impression that if he passes up on his medical clearance today he'll be suiting up against Ottawa.
