Guest Howard He Do It?!

A win by the Flames and they move 1 point ahead of the Wings. A win by the Ducks and they will be 1 point behind the Wings.

A win by Dallas and they will be tied with us.

I think the tie breaker goes to Dallas so they would be ahead in the standings.

We don't have to worry about other teams (though thanks for the link) as long as we play like we can, like tonight.

They will still need the teams around them to lose. Play like they did tonight and their chances are that much better.

Go Ducks!

Dallas is winning 3 to 0 with only a couple minutes left in that game so it doesn't look like we'll be going into the Olympic break in a playoff spot...

At best the Wings will be 9th. At worst 10th.

You can always ask me to stream stream something in chat.

By the way HHDI, are you in my stream chat ever?

I don't chat on the stream. I stick to the GDT. Thanks for the heads up though. I will take advantage of that in the future.

Don't matter, I have faith the break will help the Wings (Brad Stuart, Holmstrom, Filppula). The Mule is back and has been great. Thank God May was put on waivers, what is Kirk Maltby going to do though?

Amazing what is like being on the outside looking in...

Less stressful.

I honestly don't care how other teams are playing, because if the Wings are going to rely on other teams to lose/win to make the playoffs they won't be making it.

Games like tonight have me optimistic that they won't have to worry about that.

I agree with you completely.. But I still would have felt better with the Wings sitting in 8th over the break.

The Wings can win all they want, but if teams like the Flames and the Stars don't starting losing...well, we all know what will happen.

Obviously it would feel better to be in a playoff spot for the next couple weeks, because during that span it is much easier to forget about the NHL and the Wings' chances at making the playoffs.

Having them one point out just makes it more nerve-wracking. No need to worry considering the past two games were great by Detroit as a whole. Perhaps Franzen was the missing link all along?

8th would have been nice. The Wings play last night was impressive so that gives me a lot of hope. Should be a very interesting finish.

I'd including Kronwall as well.

Considering the Wings would be pretty safe in a playoff spot right now if they had won the 6 or so games they pissed away I am going to have to reiterate that the Wings hold their own destiny with how THEY play. They have proved it this entire season.

At above: Kronwall the reason the Wings are starting to do well? NAH! (I'm an avid Franzen supporter so I will automatically attribute the Wings success from here on out to him)
