i thought i heard a while back that when the rosters were announced Datsyuk was for some reason suppose to play on the checking line. How did he go from that to first line center? Im not complaining im just confused how low russia was on him when they rosters were selected compared to how high they are on him now.

Ovechkin isn't the best looking guy. But it's not just his money that makes up for it. Seriously, the guy is a freaking rock-star. He's got crazy self-confidence and knows how to live. Which makes up for anything else.

Oh, and I've heard a story from somebody that used to play with Crosby: he has no game with the ladies. And no, I'm not making it up, I'm dead serious. And let's be honest, he's not a bad looking guy.

the Finland/China women's game has been awesome to watch.

Not nearly as epic as what's about to happen with Russia and Latvia, but fun nonetheless.
