GDT: March 14th

Maybe we could have a GDT for tonight too as there are some important games regarding Red Wings. If Predators lose tonight to Kings then Wings can leapfrog them into the 7th seed by winning Flames tomorrow. Flames losing to Canucks would be helpful too. Luckily both these teams are playing teams that are higher in the standings.

Knowing our luck, the Preds and Flames will both win.

LA and Vancouver are bound to relax knowing that their teams are already in the playoffs. Especially, LA, since their s***ty franchise never makes it into the playoffs. Theyr'e already planning a parade most likely.

I know I'm overreacting, but I'm just pissed that neither the Flames nor Preds go into some horrific tailspin or get hit with tragic injuries. They just keep on beating teams like the Kings who have owned us.

LAK took the lead for 40 seconds in the third period, but NSH tied the game.

05:56 LAK Dustin Brown (17) Snap Shot - Assists: D. Doughty (39)

06:35 NSH Colin Wilson (6) Wrist Shot - Assists: M. Erat (24) & J. Arnott (24)

So, it's 2-2 with 10 minutes left.

Predators win 3-2. Awesome...

GWG by Patric Hornqvist on a questionable play where Jonathan Quick was interfered a bit.

Shots were 31-20 so I guess Nashville deserved it.

The flames actually did, in a stretch in January where they won only 1 game in 12.

Colorado wins, Nashville wins, if Calgary wins tonight which wouldnt surprise me, tommorow night becomes a must win game.

Yep, especially after Calgary beat us in our rink.

So much for people who talked about how tough Nashville's schedule was and all that s***. Strength of schedule is overrated.

I think the talk was that CGY's schedule is tough. They are still facing Sharks twice, Caps, Phoenix, Hawks and Canucks.

But they'll have more to play for than any of those teams, which will likely give them an advantage in desperation.

Sure, definitely. Just like tonight Nashville had more to play for than Los Angeles. I was just pointing out that I think the talk was that Nashville has easier schedule than Calgary and that's why Predators will probably end up higher in the standings than Flames.
