As reported, Jiri Hudler will be a Wing next year. How big of an impact do you think he will have? Is it possible he became a worse hockey player playing in the KHL? (no offense to KHL fans, but the KHL and NHL are not comparable)

When was this reported? All I've heard was Pierre say something that seemed in context to be speculation.

Lebrun has also mentioned something, but still no official word from inside the Wings office, or from Hudler/Hudler's agent.

I read somewhere that Jiri would like to see his old teammates and maybe catch a game. Since the announcement will be made official next week, I wonder how soon we will see him in Detroit...

Also, I wonder if Dynamo folding had anything to do with his departure.

I hope Jiri got paid up front! I'm looking forward to having the little squirt back... I took a shine to the little monkey (haha) when he spent a summer working out with Cheli and it made him fast and strong enough to play in the NHL and he had the most points per minute played in the league.
