stevkrause 1,247 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 (edited) Had some ups and downs, but it was a fun season all and all and one hell of a push considering the roster turn over, lack of cap space and injuries... 4 game comebacks rarely ever happen and I'm conceding the season. I can't take all the idiotic threads/posts that are being made right now, so I'm taking some time away... See you guys after the playoffs when signings, re-signings, trades, etc... occur. I'm out! Off the Post 11 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 I hope to see a scorer come in to Detroit to take pressure off Z and D. And maybe another D man. But then again im not expecting to much with our cap issues.
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 Not over until it's over....no matter what the odds. I do agree though, the content of a lot of the threads on this board currently are pushing me a way a little bit.
jmad 18 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 it was a very different season for us. all and all, it was fun trying to come back and gut it out more than usual. We hit a little rough stretch at the wrong time against San Jose but it's really, really tough to make the finals 3 seasons in a row. Let's rest up and come back stronger next year. Guest micah Report post Posted May 5, 2010 I enjoyed this season more than most. Our scrubs did a great job getting us through a regular season that was more plagued by injurries than any that I can rememeber. Lots of wins, lots of losses, but most of them were great games to watch. Oftentimes in previous years I would get so bored buy the clinical, dominant Wings of November that I'd turn to a more exciting game. That didn't happen often this year. I also really enjoyed watching the healthy team turn it up a notch in the push fore the playoffs. They were really rolling there for a while. I'm not happy about the healthy wings s***ting the bed in the playoffs (so far). Scrub Wings of the reg. season were great. Healthy, star-studded Wings of the reg. season were great. Healthy, star-studded Wings of the playoffs suck balls so far. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 I agree it doesn't look good and it's all but inevitable, but can we save threads like this until *after* the Wings lose a fourth game?
RedWingedKitten 9 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 (edited) Even though we have not truly lost yet, I agree with the tone of this thread. Considering all the hockey these guys have played in the last three years this season cannot be considered a complete failure. Of course it's not a success, but come on guys. Lets go Red Wings! 24/7.
