Guest micah Report post Posted May 11, 2010 Not a bad career by any means. 1041 games, 288 points, 2248 PIM, 1 Cup. He played a difficult role, a middleweight toughguy (6'1, 210ish) who even in his declining years was willing to scrap with legit heaveyweights like Boogaard and Laraque. Very few guys his size are willing or able to do as much. He is a warrior and he will be missed. In an era of 6'3" 230lb cowards who are too worried about their precious faces and dainty hands to stick up for themselves or their teammates, Brad May was a breath of freash air. Thanks for the memories, Brad, you were always a fun guy to watch! You almost single-handedly made fall and early winter tollerable for us fans this year:) I really liked what he brought to us this year and it was refreshing when he was in the lineup. Teams seemed to play us just a little bit differently when they knew May was out there. He seemed to be a good leader to the younger 4th liners. You aren't alone in noticing that teams took fewer liberties with us when May was playing, Babcock noticed and commented on it too. 2 ManLuv4Clears and 55fan reacted to this
