Fair enough. But reading both the original quote from Babcock and your first post you do get more than a casual impression that it's all about the PP - at least considering this interview.

I see that now. What I really meant was that it's amazing that Babs has historically under-used Hudler and now all of a sudden 1 year later he decides that he's good enough to run the second PP unit. I'll believe it when I see it (meaning that I really expect more of the same from Babcock- Hudler on the 3rd line and some PP time and lots of blame directed at Hudler).

The first two you can expect. Hudler will probably spend significant time on the third line because he still isn't fast enough. The last one I'm not sure what that's all about.

A handful of games and the all star game where he racked up a lot of points. It seems like he's as fast as he'll get.

Maybe he's smarter about positioning himself on the ice. I hope so for his sake.
