I'm not sure what his situation is, but I know he would be a great pickup for us since it's looking more and more like we're not adding forwards, but only going to add a d-man or two. Babchuk is a pretty fast skater, he's good defensively, and can score goals in bunches. I would love to see him in the winged wheel. Anyone know if this is possible? While I think it would hilarious to add another big player who doesn't use his size, I don't think he'd be a great fit. He wants a lot more money than he's worth (or at least he did, maybe he's changed his tune now), not all that great defensively, and only had the one decent season scoring. Maybe if we could pick him up super cheap. But I think what we need is a decent crease-clearing shot-blocker, not a marginally talented primadonna who had a hot scoring streak a couple years ago.
