Both offer center ice and last time I checked both are offering free HD for life. Dish has some better packages and is a little cheaper but I'm not sure how their service is. Right now I'm with direct TV but I'll switch to dish eventually. Both are cheaper and better than time warner, at least from my experiences. Also, see if AT&T is offering UVerse in your area.
