I see on the Griffins' site that Smith was assessed a fighting major on the 16th. Did anyone see the fight?

I was wondering the same. Smith never really had the chance to fight before, could be another aspect to add to his game. He was always a chippy guy for CCHA standards. With his skill and potential I wouldnt want Smith dropping the gloves all the time, but it would be nice seeing him willing to drop the gloves like Ericsson, or pre concussion Lilja.

Not sure if a video has been posted anywhere, but Im having difficulty recording the fights from AHLLive due to them changing their feed from mediaplayer to silverlight.

Smith won anyway and looked very good against Maxwell who is a top middleweight. Smith looked like he knew what he was doing for a first minors fight.

I'll try my best tonight to get all fights uploaded to my youtube channel. I let you all know when/if I get it done.
