Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted March 12, 2011 As an executive of Air Canada? Not really- but I probably wouldn't have let my marketing director say this in the first place. I think it was simply a move to help vote down Bettman's contract extension which I would have been 100% behind, but the owners see it differently. The owners see record profits, the players are seeing higher salaries due to the rising cap due to the record profits. A lot of people see it differently. sleepwalker 512 Report post Posted March 13, 2011 The Montreal police are investigating the Chara hit? C'mon...are you ******* serious? I agree the league needs to take actions to prevent injuries, but the Habs fans (which include Air Canada, which is based in Montreal) are taking s*** to a whole new level of butthurt-ness. Nobody seemed to care about all of the blatant dirty hits that have happened all season, but now that a Habs player got injured, on a play which I honestly don't think was a dirty play, but more of a freak thing due to the design of the rink, they are all outraged. This whole thing reminds of the Mario rant a few weeks back.
