Because Babcock evidently has a different opinion of E's performance than some people here. Being a whipping boy on LGW doesn't equal actually playing awful. ummmm.....toughness????? You never notice Salei on the ice, hmm...because he is doing his job, not turning the puck over. Kindl is more offensive, sure, but has much better responsibility in his own end then Ericsson! It doesent matter how bad Salei plays or how good kindl plays down the stretch the playoffs are a whole new ball game it will be Salei in the line up no questions asked Kindl would be a disaster come playoff time.
