ben_usmc 253 Report post Posted April 9, 2011 Once the salary cap isn't a factor and the black aces can be called up, who would you like to see benched and who do you think actually will be? I think Salei gets benched for Smith, and I'd love to see Modano or Draper benched for Murzak or Tatar.

ben_usmc 253 Report post Posted April 9, 2011 lol @ salei being benched for smith. Salei is ******* garbage he couldn't even make the Avs defense that should say something. But thanks for your pointless statement
WorkingOvertime 536 Report post Posted April 9, 2011 Salei is ******* garbage he couldn't even make the Avs defense that should say something. But thanks for your pointless statement He was pointing out your statement because it won't happen. The Wings are very unlikely to have a player (Smith) play their first NHL game (after one season of AHL) in the playoffs. This is especially true when you factor in Janik and Meech from GR, and the seven defensemen the Wings are already carrying.
egroen 384 Report post Posted April 9, 2011 Mursak and Janik shoul be the first call ups for any injured or sucky players.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted April 9, 2011 Mursak should be in. Speed, energy, intensity. Modano should be benched. Salei will stay in the line-up, but my goodness he was beyond awful tonight.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted April 9, 2011 Mursak will be given a chance to be this playoff run's Helm. What he does with that chance is up to him. When he gets it depends on who's healthy and who's playing poorly. Anyone who thinks Modano is sitting is nuts. Coaches don't sit first ballot Hall of Fame centres in the playoffs. He'd get a game at the most to light a fire under his ass. Anyone remember Maltby going in for Abdelkader in the 09 finals? Potentially a bad move looking back but it's a testament to how coaches value veterans in the playoffs. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
