Great comeback, great series, a lot for us to be proud of, but none of that is helping me get rid of this numb feeling I have now. Damn it!!

At least we can't blame the refs for this one.

This loss, honestly for me, feels worst then the loss to Pittsburgh. All this for nothing... I dont even know what to say. Valiantly effort, certainly, but that doesnt take the sting away. I hope Nick realizes that with Howard in net, a few changes up front and on the back end, and we have a serious shot next year. Hope he'll be joining us.

Wish I could say the same. I was in Pittsburgh at the in laws...I've never wanted to knock my father in law out, until he screamed "Super Bowl and Stanley Cup!! City of champions!" f*** I hate that city.....

Out: Hudler ($2.9), Osgood (800k?), Draper ($1.5).

Lids goes from $6mil to $5mil, we've got 6 mil to play with, and with the cap going up maybe $2mil, happy days!

hopefully Ericsson and Salei. Salei had a good year I think, but will he have another? Bring up Kindl and sign/trade for another for around 3 million and sign a bona fide top 6 forward.

Just cause you look like the gimp don't mean you play like the gimp!

When you put it in perspective, you will sleep well tonight. Trust me on that.

That was the last game for a few wings. Bye Hudler, bye Draper, bye Modano, bye Salei, bye Lidstrom.
Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

I think Nemos save on Dats saved the series for SJ.

Ugh. Ok now that my anger has subsided slighty. Great series by the Wings, although losing after coming back really makes it feel worse than a sweep would in my opinion. And I hate to say this, Thornton actually played up to his talent level and Marleau finally showed up and got a goal.

But now again, f*** the Sharks. Get Swept by Vancouver and then they can lose in the Finals to Tampa.

I was certain the dats slapper was going in...just seemed like something he'd do. It looked effortless.

You had to know we were f***ed when Cleary and Bertuzzi got hurt.

We had Helm, Eaves and Miller on the ice for our last shift. I think I saw Draper out there too late in the game.

Howard did his job we walked into this series as the walking wounded yet still came back from 3 - 0. Most teams would have given up.

Dats under 100%
Z under 100%
Mule under 25%
Bert hurt
Danny C hurt

and Hudler running around like a ***** on Sunday

just question why not Modano instead of Hudler....

I simply don't understand how anybody can be proud of this losing effort. If these guys weren't down 3-0 to begin with, they wouldn't need to pull of a miracle to win the series. I'm flat-out disappointed in the performance of this team after cruising by Phoenix. The power-play was god awful and the offense looked lazy. Yeah, I'll give them props for coming back I guess, but that's still no excuse for going down 3-0 in the first place. Changes need to be made for sure.

this is exactly how i see it.

by the way if****** hate joe thornton more than ever now after watching this *** interview with him

If this makes anyone feel better, losing game 7 to the Pens was worse.

Wings were outplayed, and the series comeback was much like Game 7's.. too little too late. Can't start this slow and expect to win. That being said, proud they nearly pulled off something highly improbable to do. The best part of all is that they took it this far despite some typical cut-and-run fans quitting on them after Game 3, Game 4, Game 5, and even Game 6.

Really showed near the end of the game that we were missing Bert and Cleary.

Just felt like we needed someone other than Z or Dats to make a play in the offensive zone. Hudler just didn't look hot. Kronwall was probably our 3rd best forward in the game offensively.

Great Series though, taking it to 7 was an amazing feat, just fell a little short.

Rest up and get healthy Wings.

Can't believe we didn't pull this off. I was so sure we could be the 4th team in history to do this ...
Oh well, great series boys.
