I'm of the opinion that Joey Mac is a better backup than Conklin is in the first place, but I don't run the team; thus they don't give a damn what I think. All I'm doing here is calling a spade a spade.

I understand what you are saying, but to say he can't be blamed for that as much as the rest of them. Or to cream your jeans when we re-signed him with ideas that he actually is, "The reincarnation of Terry Sawchuk," is just foolish. And to get mad at me for spelling out what anyone can see here is ignorant.

Hold on now... I think its pretty clear that there can never be another Mr. Sawchuk or even trying to say someone close to Mr. Sawchuk is just foolish. Thats taking it alittle too far bringing in a legend like that on any note.

Your right in the aspect of they have a lot of ground to make up. They CAN be proud however of their win, and why not they played a good game last nite and Mason was good as well. Their young kids looked good, and with Wiz back the Jackets D looks a little deeper. It's only 1 win but they did it convincingly.

I'm not saying they couldn't feel good about it, for a little while, they most certainly can. You play one game at a time, but in the big picture things are not looking hot at all for them. Look at things around here, the Wings are 5-2 and the sky is falling. Imagine if we were 1-7, we'd be on suicide watch.
