It's a bummer to hear that about Lidstrom but I hope the team decides to pick it up even more now until our hero is back. This will be a good test to see if the Wings actually have what it takes to win against these physically tougher teams even if it means doing so without Datsyuk and Lidstrom's skills. Here's to Z, Flips and Mule stepping it up

I honestly don't think we see Lids again until the playoffs, if then. Bone bruise recovery is a 6-10 week thing and the playoffs start in, what, 4 weeks or so?

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.
