Guest The Production Line Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Good job so far to force the Ducks to play along the boards.
InKennyWeTrust 126 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 I absolutely love the way Smith plays the game. When he stops trying to do too much, he'll be amazing.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 I honestly don't think we see Lids again until the playoffs, if then. Bone bruise recovery is a 6-10 week thing and the playoffs start in, what, 4 weeks or so?
Guest The Production Line Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Would have liked to see Z take that backhanded shot from the slot.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Ducks already credited with 10 hits. What is it with these stat keepers in California? C'mon, guys, I'm actually drinking tonight for this one. Do something positive.
syntax 359 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Decent chances on both sides, would love a Wings goal before the 1st is over.
WingZNut13 99 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Love him or hate him, Hudler has good moments and skates well entering the zone. Quincy got away with that icing there.
jstwatchin 23 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Mmmmm I like Southern Tier's brews ... never had the milk stout. Just tapped a fresh 1/6 of Swtchback here! 1 edicius reacted to this
syntax 359 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) Not goalie interference there? Oh no, a PP :nonono: Edited March 15, 2012 by syntax

WingZNut13 99 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Oh God a PP. Hold on, I'm gonna take a shot of tequila. I'm trying a new alcohol every game until they get the PP going.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 So the buzzer went off in the arena and there's still time on the clock on tv?
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 At least this PP was looking a little better at the start. By "better", I mean that we actually got a shot on goal.
sleepwalker 512 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Am I tripping, or was there like 16 seconds left on the clock when the horn blew?
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Wish Lids was casted and would stay off of it
jstwatchin 23 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Looks like the buzzer went off with 16 seconds on the clock.

Guest The Production Line Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Someone should tell the clock operators that sounding the horn early isn't needed to stop the Wings' PP. 1 Jasper84 reacted to this
Jasper84 333 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 I'm surprised nobody on the ice complained about the time still on the clock or the broadcasters not saying anything. Is it possible it was just a mistake on TV but the period was actually over?
jstwatchin 23 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Probably figured with only 16 seconds the wings wouldn't gain the zone again anyway. Actually looking good on the pp so far ... gonna get one quick in the second!!
TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Am I tripping, or was there like 16 seconds left on the clock when the horn blew? I saw that too, hopefully it was the fsd clock being out of sync and not a revisit to the la clock shenanigans. First game I've posted in a while due to region chorus and a monster sinus infection that has left me weaker than the PP has been the past few games. On the bright side, my student made all states for the third time. Quincey definitely got away with one on the icing call but I guess it's karma for the Salo icing in Vancouver. Smith has been looking good in his call up, IMHO. The PP at the end of the first had a shot and some decent offensive One presence. At this point probability has to be on the side of popping one. I'd like to see the Kronwall charge the net to allow the other D to get off an inimpeded one timer.

Is it possible it was just a mistake on TV but the period was actually over? That is what I was thinking, since it wasn't the actual clock at the arena.
