On the other SM-Liiga news: Filppula has played 9 games with Jokerit and has scored 4+5=9. His brother Ilari seems to be really tearing up with 7+12=19 in 12 games. "1 period 1 shot 1 blocked shot 1 broken finger, great stats Cory," he said on his Twitter account after the 3-2 shootout victory against Kalpa Kuopio. The Detroit News says Emmerton will need surgery and could be sidelined for up to two months.
