Euro_Twins 4,476 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 Per NHL.com They traded a conditional 4-5th round pick for the 2015 draft, and the devils get a conditional 7th round pick for 2015. What always confuses me, is what is the NHL's criteria for a "veteran" player. D'agostini is 26 and has played four years, yet they refer to him as a "veteran" forward. I think players should have to be 30+ for that title and at least 5 full seasons played

evilzyme 769 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 St.Louis needed to trim away from fat at the winger position because of Oshie coming back I believe. They couldn't get another player back in return because of roster situation. I believe D'agostini has been a healthy scratch lately so this just provides him with some possible ice-time.
