Euro_Twins 4,477 Report post Posted November 28, 2014 I wasn't being serious. Any realistic trade for Myers would be a mistake. What about kindl, quincey, and a 3rd/conditional 2nd pick?
e_prime 1,936 Report post Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) What about kindl, quincey, and a 3rd/conditional 2nd pick? Buffalo doesn't want that. What about Kindl, a quality defensive prospect, and a 3rd/conditional 2nd pick? EDIT: Quincey's gotta go in this trade too. So, ultimately; K+Q, a quality d-prospect, and a 3rd/conditional 2nd pick. Stocking their d-corps for this, next, and future years. Edited November 28, 2014 by e_prime
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted November 28, 2014 He won't put up Mantha numbers but I think we would really regret trading Larkin down the road, I get the impression he's a great kid and works his ass off. Agreed. I also think the Wings need to hang on to Larkin because they really lack potential high-end centers right now in the organization. If they make a trade to address needs this season, they can deal from a position of strength having so many defense prospects on the brink of the NHL. 2 Jesusberg and krsmith17 reacted to this
Jesusberg 1,256 Report post Posted November 28, 2014 With TB shipping off Brewer for a 3rd (they retained 26% of his cap hit, but still), it gives me some hope that Detroit will find a suitor for Kindl. Regardless of how he looks, the mistakes he makes, etc. it's pretty clear to me that he and Babs are at odds. The only way he's going to dig himself out of Babcock's doghouse is by changing who he is as a defender... which I don't see happening.
