kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 (edited) That is not a fair assessment either as the goals that were scored were on the Hawks prospect goaltender We had a prospect goalie play half the game. Additionally you can look at the shots on goal. Detroit outshot (10-4) Squad A in the third period and mitigated their defense. Like you said yourself. A vet team wouldn't have given them as much space right? So then how come Chicago's vet team let our prospects shoot 38 times on them? Seems like they had plenty of space to me. The game ended with Detroit 38 shots on goal and Chicago with 37! Not to mention we took one more penalty than they did. Everything here points to the fact that our prospect team held its own against the Chicago squad A team (most part). I've yet to see how our prospects can't handle it. You can argue that "well it was Chicago, I bet if it was Pittsburg's squad A then prospects would have sucked" My response is that Chicago won the stanley cup and so on paper they ARE one of the best teams in the NHL. Can't get a better challenge than that. Edited September 26, 2015 by kickazz 1 DatsyukianDekes reacted to this

DatsyukianDekes 2,428 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 That is not a fair assessment either as the goals that were scored were on the Hawks prospect goaltender I don't care who played on the other team. We have a really good team and very good prospects. I don't need another teams "A" team to tell me that. We have a bright future and watching these kids play like this only proves that.
