#2183031 Thoughts on Joni Pitkanen

Posted by Red Wings Addict on 06 June 2011 - 05:58 PM

Why did you post such a broken "description" of Pitkanen?

It's blueadams, man. Shoot first, ask questions later.

#2182486 How Much Is Hudler Worth?

Posted by Red Wings Addict on 04 June 2011 - 12:37 AM

Ladies and gentlemen, David Letterman presents the top ten things worth more useful than Jiri Hudler:

Number 10... A bag of pucks.
Number 9... A couple rolls of pink tape.
Number 8... A set of Christian brand hockey sticks.
Number 7... A pair of Daoust skates. Yeah. Daoust skates.
Number 6... Any hockey equipment made by Cooper.
Number 5... A sheet of NHL official team logo pogs--Hellooo!
Number 4... World Champion Icehockey for the Commodore 64.
Number 3... A pre-owned boxed set of the Mighty Ducks movies.
Number 2... A 20% off coupon at the HenrikZetterberg.com store. Hey-yo!
And the number 1 thing that's worth more useful than Jiri Hudler... Link Gaetz's rookie card!!!

Baaaa da da da da daaa da da da...

:P

Any idea why he's been on 4 different teams in 5 years?

#2181315 I think we're going to win it all next season

I guess it kind of felt like a while since we had a blueadams lines thread. Nice little relapse I guess.

This series makes me think, "God I can't wait for the draft."

#2180570 Draft Talk

Posted by Red Wings Addict on 28 May 2011 - 12:54 AM

An article on RWC about Gustav Nyquist where Jimmy Nill said, ôStatistically, any player below the third round is not supposed to make the NHL" sparked my curiosity about forwards selected after the 3rd round who scored 40 points or more, which to me says they at least spent time in a top-six role.

So now you have been caught in your own contradiction. no?

Does such a thing even exist in Hudler world?

When you lose a guy like Rafi you probably can't afford to not be open to a trade.

#2179575 Brian Rafalski announces retirement after 11 NHL seasons

Posted by Red Wings Addict on 25 May 2011 - 01:23 PM

He's thanked and mentioned Nicklas Lidström at least five times.

He did? I didn't hear it from the speech and q&a session on Red Wings TV online.

EDIT: Oh wait... I think I get it? He thanked God many times and Nick Lidstrom is God? I see what you did there?

#2179387 Will Nicklas Lidstrom Retire?

If Nick hangs 'em too I'm looking for the nearest open bar.
