So FSN Detroit is done for the year...  Damnit.  We'll miss you Ken and Mick!

 

Onward to NBC and NBCSN.  And you just know a certain Edzo will be there.  How fitting for a series against the Hawks.  Sigh... 

 

Anybody got any creative tips on how to tolerate the NBC broadcasting?

What has Filppula really shown the Wings here in a contract year? And what's he showing them here in these playoffs, where the request was the same before Game 1 as it is on the eve of Game 7?

Play hard, produce and you just might stick around a while. If not, it's probably time to go.

I didn't see a thread specifically about free agents so I figured I'd start one. 

 

Anyone else keeping an eye on potential 2013 free agents?

It doesn't seem to be a particularly flashy free agent class.  A lot of older players for sure. 

 

You kind of always have to inquire about talents like Perry and Getzlaf.  Even Horton with his injury history.  I'd offer a little consideration for old timers like Iginla/Alfredsson if they're interested.  Visnovsky/Gonchar, maybe even Zidlicky could be a good one or two year stop gaps on defense.  Even though he's kind of an idiot, I'd kick the tires on Ryane Clowe to see where he's at and what he wants.  Speaking of San Jose, I wonder how much it would cost to get Doug Murray.

I'd like to see where LGW stands in regards to this issue.  The question is pretty self-explanatory.  Please vote yes or no.

He's a skilled d-man who has excellent timing when it comes to hits.  Because he plays against top-six forwards much of the time, chances are that he's going to hit and potentially concuss a skilled player, which some believe is wrong no matter what.  What are your thoughts?
