Went to school with him, and am friends with a former team mate of his. He is a nice guy though and through. I'd love to have him on Detroit. He's the type of guy who works for his minutes, and isn't pissy if he doesn't get them. Grit, and being stable in the mind (180 of someone like avery).

Any of you been to the JLC/Budweiser Gardens in London? I live here, have been to roughly 50 hockey games and 15 events, and I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bad seat, either in the 100's, boxes, 200's or 300's. I don't know how they did it, but if they could double the size (from our current 9 to the 18 or so) and keep the views, as well as have the way above average washroom ratio (seriously, it's actually noted about our arena), the new arena in Detroit would be the best, or rival the best in North America!
